Protect biodiversity
Countless studies have revealed that millions of animal and plant species worldwide are at risk of extinction. La environmental protection has a direct correlation with the fight against climate change: in order to overcome this challenge it is necessary preserve existing biodiversity.
Project areas
All projects included in the Up2You Biodiversity package, in addition to being certified according to the main international standards, they have obtained the CCB certification (Climate, Community & Biodiversity). This recognition attests to the correct and concrete protection of the animal and plant species present, in addition to contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 15 “Life on Earth.”

The benefits
Choosing this package allows you to support the initiative introduced at COP15 in Montreal 30x30: preserve biodiversity protecting 30% of land areas (lands, rivers, lakes and oceans) by 2030. Currently, about 15% of land areas are protected and this percentage includes the certified projects of the Up2You Biodiversity package.
The result
Thanks to the geographical diversification of the package's projects, more than 75,000 animal and plant species have been protected, such as the Andean bears of Peru, the macaw parrots of the Brazilian Amazon and the Sumatran tigers in Indonesia.
