Forest is the package created to combat climate change by acting on forests, their preservation and proper management, in order to prevent natural or anthropogenic damage.
Project characteristics
The Forest package includes projects mainly from the areas most affected by deforestation in the world, including the Amazon rainforest, Indonesian peat bog forests and African deciduous forests. In addition to forests, the projects in this package generate co-benefits to local communities such as the construction of infrastructure, the creation of jobs and access to education.

Biodiversity Pack

With the Biodiversity package, it is possible to support projects focused on the protection of species and on the protection of all animal and plant organisms that inhabit the areas concerned.
Project characteristics
This package includes REDD+, Forest management and ARR projects, all projects aimed at protecting biodiversity and endangered species. Each included project has obtained the CCB (Climate, Community & Biodiversity) certification from Verra. Preserving the state of health of a forest area makes it possible to protect the natural habitat of the animal species present. The Biodiversity package protects endangered animals such as macaw parrots in the Amazon forest, andean bears in Peruvian parks, African elephants and Indonesian sumatra tigers.

Technology-based projects enhance the use of technology to generate benefits on the environment, resulting in a fundamental resource in the fight against climate change.
Project characteristics
In this package there are technology-based projects focused on the generation of renewable energy and the use of solar cookers (cookstove). In some areas of the world, much of the electricity is generated through coal or gas power plants. In addition to reducing CO emissions2 these projects improve air quality and soil fertility, create jobs with better conditions and better salaries, and make investments in local communities.

Blue carbon package

Blue carbon projects protect and develop coastal ecosystems, providing numerous benefits, including the improvement of waters and the protection of endangered marine species. In this package there are only projects that generate blue carbon credit, contributing to the absorption of CO2 and to the protection of marine habitats.
Project characteristics
The projects included in this package allow the reforestation of mangroves, these plants allow the capture of a high amount of CO2 (ten times higher than a traditional tree) but at the same time they need special conditions to survive: a tropical climate and contact with seawater. Blue carbon projects generate numerous co-benefits, for example mangrove forests protect coastal villages from storms and floods, neutralize the harmful effects of UV-B radiation and are a source of nutrition for fish and animals. To date, there are very few certified Blue carbon projects, this has made them unique and highly sought after.
